Euskirchen Prison - 2 door transponders missing
Authorities at the Euskirchen correctional facility are investigating eight employees for suspected bribery. Additionally, manipulated fire department transponders, which are only intended for emergency use, were discovered. During a routine check, it was noticed that a secured lock had been opened using one of these transponders. Further investigation revealed that the internal components of two of the transponders had been replaced. Whether there is a connection between the bribery allegations and the tampering with the transponders is currently under investigation. The investigation is ongoing and aims to clarify the circumstances of the incidents.
