In this video I tell you how to change the outer CV joint yourself without removing the drive and knuckle on an Audi A6 C5, Passat B5, SKODA Superb. First, loosen the wheel and hub bolts. Jack up the car, remove the wheel. Unscrew the hub bolt a little, hit it with a mallet to knock the outer CV joint out of its seat. Then jack up the knuckle until the levers are parallel to the ground, and turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, if we are changing the left CV joint as in the video. Now the CV joint can be pulled out of the hub. Then screw the bolt back into the CV joint until it comes off the support ring. Everything is ready. I spent 1.5 hours on the independent replacement, with my own hands the first time
