Today we continue our journey—the journey of a family that refuses to give up. While we wait for the power to be turned on, we're not wasting a minute and are doing what we can do now—we're tidying up the land, planting the first beds, and creating our own space.
After we'd developed the property, it was time for the real beginning—planting. We planted our first crops: onions, dill, parsley, lettuce, radishes, and even peas. The soil after the tiller became so soft that we could work with our hands—and it's an incredible feeling to see the results of your labor right away.
We're doing everything for our children's future. For a home that will be warm, cozy, and peaceful. Yes, we don't have electricity right now, we don't have our usual conditions, but we have the most important thing—a goal and a desire to move forward.
We understand perfectly well that we could continue renting, paying rent, and living "temporarily." But at some point, we said to ourselves—enough is enough. It's better to invest our energy and resources in something we own, even if it's small, but still ours.
Every day here is work. But it's also joy. It's freedom. It's the feeling of building your life anew.
