The accident occurred yesterday evening in the Körkün Industrial Estate in the Körkün neighborhood of the Şahinbey district. The motorcycle, driven by 24-year-old İbrahim Yiğit, collided with an oncoming vehicle. The motorcycle burst into flames, leaving the driver seriously injured. Paramedics transported the young man to Abdulkadir Yüksel State Hospital. Despite all efforts at the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
The body of the motorcyclist, İbrahim Yiğit, was released to his relatives for burial after processing at the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute. It was learned that Yiğit worked as a factory worker and was single. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
