Meet the latest update with plenty of anatomical enhancements, better eyes, a proper neck that can also be tracked, Nuke 13.1 support and more inspiring features!
We’ve significantly upgraded the head geometry with new anatomical eyes and the long-awaited full-size neck. The statistical model was also strengthened with more datasets, improving not only diversity but also the ability of FaceBuilder to replicate intricate facial features.
The new neck was added in FaceTracker as well — you can finally track neck movement in Nuke and use it for the next-level ageing and de-ageing, better relighting, easier face replacement, and so on!
As for the tracking, we’ve added a new experimental workflow that doesn’t require pre-calculating the optical flow. While still in its early days, it might appear quite useful for simple tracking tasks.
In addition to the existing nodes, our team has added a new one — FacialExpressions. Its purpose is to enfold facial expressions of FaceTracker or FaceBuilder, so they could be applied to different heads effortlessly, allowing easier face replacement and tidier texturing pipelines.
All new features and improvements are available in the newest Nuke 13.1, Blender 3.0, and even in Blender 3.1.
