Love them or hate them, Bethesda is a household game when it comes to open world exploration games. When Fallout 76 was announced and subsequently launched, it was met with critical reception due to a slew of problems, the most common being a "betrayal" to fans. Gone were long single-player quest lines and instead were replaced with multi-player worlds, daily grinding quests, and a store full of microtransations.
Bethesda took it on the chin, big time, and went back to the proverbial drawing board to determine what steps, if any, could Fallout 76 make to fix the franchise. After much development, Wastelanders was announce and launched on April 14, 2020.
The real question is this: does Wastelanders "fix" Fallout 76? Here is my quick review on the subject.
