Eminem's forgotten failed cartoon
In this video I talk about an abysmal, forgotten cartoon project that Eminem was involved in 2 decades ago. This is slightly different from most of my other content, but I felt like branching out to experiment with other video styles. Originally my content was comprised of 10% documentary/commentary type stuff split with 90% music tutorial stuff, but I felt like dedicating an entire video to just the documentary/commentary side of things this time around.
The Slim Shady show was an internet cartoon created by Eminem, Mark Brooks, and Peter Gilstrap that aired between 2000 and 2003. This was years before the creation of YouTube. During the era of Flash Animation, where sites like Newgrounds were the central hub for uploading and viewing this type of content. After it’s initial run, the cartoons were later released and re-released on DVD, with various iterations on the cover art, often featuring quotes from “Critics” who reviewed the show.
