Photographing squirrels --- with Fuji X-T30 and Fuji XF 55-200mm lens
In this video I’m sharing the experience of photographing squirrels with you. I show you many examples of squirrel photos and talk about the camera setting and lens setting that I use to photograph these small animals. I’m using Fujifilm X-T30 together with a Fujinon XF 55-200mm lens. Most of the photos were taken using the 200 mm focal length and F-stop 4.8. I never used a tripod but often tried to support the camera some other way to reduce the camera shake. My main advice is to always focus on the eye of the animal and take as many photos as you can so that you could pick out the sharpest later. I worry about the composition mostly when I crop the photos later.
