In the capital of Chechnya, a drone damaged a skyscraper located near Kadyrov's residence and the FSB building due to incompetent Russian air defense or electronic warfare systems. During the UAV attack in the Grozny City area, an incoming attack was recorded: one of the high-rise buildings was damaged. The damaged building houses the offices of the Chechen Security Council, the ombudsman, the Accounts Chamber, and the Election Commission. The skyscraper is located near Kadyrov's residence. Airports in the North Caucasus suspended operations overnight.
Near the Grozny City skyscraper is the building of the Main Directorate of the FSB in Chechnya, which could have been the target of the attack. The drone may have deviated from its target due to incompetent Russian electronic warfare or air defense systems. This is the second time this week that UAVs have attacked Chechnya.
