Visiting Yang Ge | The Blueprint
Actress, director, screenwriter, singer, blogger—our new heroine seems equally at home in any setting and role. This Chinese native's career began at VGIK, continued at the Gogol Center, and then followed with roles in Crew, Attraction, Matilda, and Call DiCaprio!, a stint on The Voice, and then directing. Her debut film, Nu, won the Special Jury Prize at the 40th Moscow International Film Festival, and her next film, Trinity, was included in the main program of the 30th Kinotavr Film Festival.
Yang Ge currently lives in Germany, performs in European theaters, continues to collaborate with Kirill Serebrennikov, writes music, sings, acts in films, and maintains a humorous Instagram blog with millions of followers.
