After walking around the small village of Greenport right near the station, I also had the chance to find a cool ice cream shop, which was one of the really cool things about that little village. Greenport is a quiet residential town and there’s lots of activities you can do there along Long Island Sound with water sports and it’s really cool with all the opportunities you get. And it was only appropriate as this was just as sailing season was beginning and it was a month after the end of the ski season. So yeah, I hope somebody else has the opportunity to cover this branch because it rarely has ever gotten love with runs.
