Only do this if you know what you're doing, the recovery partition helps recover windows should it come into any problems, so if you only have 1 recovery partition I wouldn't recommend doing this unless it has become corrupt etc
However, if like myself you have more than one recovery partition, due to taking disks from other machines etc and you want to free up the whole disk(s) for games/storage etc then this is the way to do it.
