Culebra Turtle Conservation
Footage from a project established on the island of Culebra off the coast of mainland Puerto Rico. As a collaborative project, Chelonia mydas or Green Sea Turtles were affixed with an acoustic transmitter tag and released. Upon release, data is collected to analyze the spatial and temporal relationship with the surrounding habitat relative to the turtles life history.
