It is designed to supply industrial and domestic single-phase loads from a three-phase network. The main purpose of the automatic phase switch is to ensure uninterrupted power supply and protect consumers from voltage fluctuations in the network.
Almost all electrical appliances are sensitive to abnormal increases in supply voltage, while undervoltage is harmful primarily to electric motors, refrigeration equipment, compressors, and air conditioning systems.
The automatic phase switch operates by monitoring the presence and magnitude of voltage in each phase, selecting the phase corresponding to the set parameters, and connecting it to the load. Phase L1 is the priority phase, which is connected to contact two of the phase switch. This means that if all phases are normal, the first one will always be connected to the load.
The phase switch output also continuously monitors the presence of voltage. This is necessary to prevent the two phases from being switched back and forth during switching, as this could lead to a breakdown.
The phase switch setting consists of setting the load disconnection time when the voltage drops below the set limit. This delay is adjusted using the knob on the front panel.
The front panel also features indicators that indicate the presence of phases and faults.
The voltage thresholds in the switch are fixed and are recommended for most electrical equipment used in homes and industry.
