Windows NT 3.5 Workstation Dutch in Microsoft Virtual PC 2007
This is Windows NT 3.5 Workstation running in Microsoft Virtual PC 2007. It didn't took a lot time to install it. Here is how to get it working. If you didn't follow these steps, you can't install this OS! Windows NT 3.5 was released on 21 September 1994 and was succeeded by Windows NT 3.51. Windows NT 3.51 was only a fix for Windows NT 3.5 because it supports newer processors.
1. Install MS-DOS 6.22
2. Install DOS Virtual Machine Additions
3. Go to E:\
4. type "cd i386" (without the ")
5. type "winnt /b" (without the ")
6. After restart, choose "installation/upgrade Windows NT 3.5"
7. During setup, make sure you DON'T convert the HDD to NTFS
8. After this part of setup, make sure you boot in MS-DOS
9. type "cd winnt35" (without the ")
10. type "cd system32" (without the ")
11. type "edit initial.inf " (without the ")
12. find [Processorvar]. Chance "STF_PROCESSOR = "" ? $(!LIBHANDLE) GetProcessor" to "STF_PROCESSOR = $(ProcessorID_I586)" (without the ")
13. Save the file to initial.inf and setup.inf
14. Continue setup
15. Finish setup
If this guide doesn't work, disable Hardware Virtualization!
