Happy 25th Birthday, Super Nintendo! - SNES launch game showcase
Brett's favorite console of all time turns 25 this month, so he hastily slapped together this tribute to the SNES' launch titles. It's the thought that counts!
Other games would follow quickly (Super R-Type, Final Fight, Actraiser etc) but these five helped kick things off.
It's assumed the SNES launched on August 22, 1991, but some may have been able to get their hands on it as early as the 19th or even 13th, according to various accounts of the era.
