no justice for animal cruelty, not in Lincoln County Mississippi
sorry about not having video, but i have found that cops speak more freely when they don't know they are being recorded. sounds bad because i had the phone in my pocket. back story: somebody put some dogs out at our house. we tried to call the animal shelter but they were closed. called the lincoln county, mississippi sheriff department and they said there was no municipal law for mistreatment of animals in the county. i reminded them that there are for the state of Mississippi. they finally agreed to send someone out and this is the conversation that happened with the deputy who never identified himself.
