Modified MOT: playing with high current. (Part 2 of 4)
There's just something about playing with electricity...
A bit disappointing tbh, I need more voltage. 1.8v just isn't enough to get the current flowing.
Dead short I've measured over 1100 amps but the max I saw here was about 450 and that dropped rapidly. If I can remove the magnetic shunts in the transformer core I might be able to get another couple of turns in.
