1. Press Windows + R, type `gpedit.msc`, and press Enter.
2. In the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - Windows Components - Windows Update.
3. Double-click on Configure Automatic Updates.
4. Select Disabled, then click Apply and OK.
5. This will stop automatic updates from occurring.
Use Windows Update Service
1. Press Windows + R, type `services.msc`, and press Enter.
2. In the Services window, scroll down to Windows Update.
