Watch this trailer for the Data Science with Python online short course from the University of Cape Town (UCT). Over the course of eight weeks of online interactive learning, you’ll have the opportunity to develop practical data science and analysis skills for use in everyday business scenarios.
This course will not only cover Jupyter Notebook and Python libraries, such as scikit-learn, pandas and matplotlib, but you'll also learn how these methods can be used in day-to-day business situations. Examine the use of statistical learning methods and analysis for data-scientific problems, and enhance your ability to apply data science and analysis techniques to best inform decision-making. By the end of the course, you’ll use a culmination of professional skills to develop a strategy to solve business problems by applying the appropriate methods, and walk away with an official certificate of completion from UCT.
Please note that this course is technical in nature, and it’s strongly recommended that you have a basic understanding of at least one programming language and basic coding knowledge if you wish to reap the full benefits of the course.
