Pet Nail Clippers

Nail clipping procedure:
Step 1 : Choose a cat nail clipper.
For cats with short claws or claws that do not curl,
any type of nail clipper can be used.
For cats with very curved nails, scissors type is more practical.

Step 2 : Find the cat's claws hidden in the soft paws.
Cat's claws are hidden in the fluffy hairs around the cat's foot.
Pressing on the knuckles will reveal the hidden nails.

Step 3 : Cut front toenails.
Let's start with the front foot. The easiest posture is to hug your cat
with its back facing you or lay on its back on your lap.
It's more convenient to hold the nail clipper with your dominant hand.
If your cat resists, wrap in a soft cloth, keep all nails covered,
or have someone help you handle them is also a safe option for both you and your cat.

Step 4 : Cut back toenails.
For those cats who do not like to have their toenails trimmed might twitch their feet which,
if not properly aimed, can easily be missed.

Step 5 : Give the cat treats.
When the cat's nails are trimmed, don't forget to reward him with a small treat to let him know that the nail clipping activity isn't cruel and that he also gets to eat some treats.

Note the pink flesh. If the nails is cut too deeply, the pink flesh can bleed therefore only trim away the clear part above the pink flesh.

When the cut is missed, the cat's claws bleed.
Get a clean gauze or cotton swab to stop the bleeding.
It's usually a small wound that will heal on its own by just keeping it clean.

Today we've shared with you some good tricks for cat's nail clipping.
Have you ever trimmed your cat's nails yet? If not, give this method a try.
