Etceteral are a duet featuring saxophonist Boštjan Simon and drummer Marek Fakuč. It is a vehicle for exploring repetitive, polyrhythmic electroacoustic music and draws its influences from Kraut-Rock and Afro-Futurism. Their purpose is to create a propulsive rhythmical feel by forging an immediate symbiosis between one synth and two acoustic instruments.

'African polyrhythmic approaches are a kind of musical hologram. That is, each rhythmic element is a necessary component of the polyrhythm, but only together they create the illusion of multidimensionality in the same way as laser interference creates a hologram.
The play of sequences and patterns is complemented by improvised excursions of both members. The DSI Evolver synthesizer responds without delay simultaneously to both the tone of the saxophone and the bass drum beat. In this way, it emerges as a carefully coordinated interference in the musical dialogue.'
