[Black MIDI] Yair92002 - Odyssey 2.1
This is the final update to Odyssey. The song is unfinished, but I can't work on it any longer due to problems with FL Studio lagging, other hobbies, and the fact that I am going to college very soon and have less time on my hands. I decided to upload it in this state so that it can be public.
My hopes and ambitions for this MIDI were high, but I thought they were within the realm of reason. Had I been more interested and motivated to finish it, and had FL Studio not given me so many problems I could have probably finished it. But alas, like the majority of my works, I was not able to finish a high quality product.
I stated around a year ago that I've lost interest in black MIDIs, and that has remained true. There are many factors for this lack of interest, and explaining all of them would probably take too long for anyone to be interested in reading; my ideas and reasonings behind this are still very disorganized.
Because of this, I am officially retiring from uploading and composing black MIDIs for the foreseeable future.
This may not come as a surprise, since I have not uploaded many black MIDI videos since 2018. But this is the first time I've made my intentions official. I am not permanently leaving black MIDIs behind; my interest in them could very well be reignited someday. It is most probable, though, that my channel will be dormant for a long time.
Treat this MIDI as some sort of goodbye, and as a last ditch effort to redeem myself from all of the low-quality MIDIs I had made in the past. Back then I was young, immature, had no musical knowledge, and pretty much blacked for fun. That changed, and I learned that good MIDIs had lots of time, effort, and discipline put into them, and I wanted to create something like them. I couldn't finish this MIDI, but I really hope that the people that have known me for a long time can see the difference between then and now (I mean, I made my own melodies this time after all!).

I want to thank you all for the 7 years I have happily spent listening, watching, uploading, and making black MIDIs. My life would be very different if I hadn't discovered them.
