Abandoned Castle of the Arab Sheikh LUXEMBOURG
Today I'm taking you to Luxembourg. I'll be visiting the Sheikh's Castle. This magnificent building dates back to the late 19th century and is steeped in history. It was built by Mr. Galois, who died at the age of 64, and the castle was sold. This time, not to a Luxembourgish family, but to an Arab family who bought the property as a summer residence. Thus, the castle became the new property of a wealthy oil sheikh and his family. Their Islamic faith is still evident throughout their former vacation home to this day. The last Arab owner of this property passed away in 2015. That year, the former king of Saudi Arabia passed away, and we see this important figure in all the photos scattered throughout the property. What's even more bizarre is that the owner shares the same name as the former king of Saudi Arabia.
There are heartbreaking reports of the loss of a loved one. After this tragic event, his family never returned from Saudi Arabia to visit their castle. Instead, I'm visiting him today to take you through the captivating story of this Arab family and to give you a glimpse into their lives.
