Building a New Blog: Adding a Contact Form to WordPress

A contact form is an important element of your blog. Not only does it help in determining E-A-T for Google, but it can let other contact you directly. This is helpful if you're building a freelancing blog or to attract potential content sponsors who may want to pay you to write about their products or services.
In reality, I've made quite a bit from sponsored posts. And all of them came in through the contact form in WordPress.
This requires an email address. Since I created one specifically for this new blog, I can use it to launch the contact form. Until the new blog gets a lot of traffic, I don't expect a massive influx of messages other than spam. But as the blog grows, so will interest.
The bottom line is that a contact form for your WordPress website can open a plethora of opportunities. And since you can set one up for free, you really have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
