How the Off Grid Garage rescued us during a black-out! (Also 🐸)
In my first experiment of the day, I replaced all three 'flicker-tubes' in the #Off-Grid-Garage with LED tubes from Osram. These are great and have almost the same light colour then the fluorescence lights before. How much energy will I save though?
Some viewers also reminded me about the new BMS, QUCC has already send me. I totally forgot about it, so this swap will be come soon.
Them yeah, then we had an incident during the night were we lost all power. Well, almost all power, the #Off-Grid-Garage was still online and bright illuminated, pretty much the only building in the valley still with power. I came up with an idea to supply the pressure pump at our house with power, so we could have running water inside the house during the black-out.
