Stax Records' 2019 Record Store Day Releases
Stax Records will be reissuing 3 classic albums on vinyl as part of the 2019 lineup of collectible indie-exclusive releases in celebration of Record Store Day (April 13).
The mono mix of Albert King's timeless blues staple Born Under a Bad Sign will be back on vinyl for the first time since its original 1967 release. The other two titles are must-have compilations: Stax Does the Beatles, a soulful tribute never before released on vinyl, and a 50th anniversary reissue of Boy Meets Girl: Classic Stax Duets, a historic collection featuring many of the greatest names in soul music.
