How to Fix: Can’t Send or receive Text Messages android phones
Ok, I had the same issue but I have now fixed it.
It is not the phone or the phone's software it is google software, this worked for me and fingers crossed it will work for you, go to the google play store and go to my apps and game section look for Carrier services by Google LLC, uninstall it then restart your phone and it should just work.
