How to create a 7-segment counter using the 4026 IC and an IR receiver (TSOP-1738). I’ll keep it concise and straightforward.
The IR receiver (TSOP-1738) detects signals from an infrared remote. When the remote sends a signal, the receiver outputs a positive voltage.
The clock pin of the 4026 IC is connected to the Sensor OUTPUT Pin.
For each signal received, the 4026 IC increments the count one by one to display the count, we use a 7-segment display.
