Sul set di "Continuavano a chiamarlo Trinità" - Campo Imperatore Abruzzo
Finally I went to the most iconic place of the film "They continued to call it Trinity", exactly Campo Imperatore in Abruzzo, where the opening scene of the film was filmed with the iconic rocks and the desert.
Even though more than 50 years have passed, the place is identical to the film, with a few more grass but otherwise the same.
The thing that impresses me though are the 2 different rooms. If you watch the film, in the background the rocks, hills or mountains seem very close, in my video they don't.
It is also true that I used a wide angle as a shot, but I think that the cameras of 1970 were with a strong zoom of the landscape.
For the rest it was an exciting experience for me, a Bud Spencer and Terence Hill lover, even if it takes an hour of climbing to get to the set, if you love these 2 characters it's worth it... and even if in the end they are simple rocks are fine too.
