Block storage is the foundation of the entire cloud. The performance of this storage drives the PaaS services our clients use, and therefore other solutions built with them.
Initially, when deploying the cloud, we used familiar, widely used solutions (in particular, Ceph), but over time, block storage evolved and ceased to be a regular Ceph installation.
In this presentation, we'll discuss how we're developing our infrastructure to ensure our PaaS services used in DevOps—cloud databases, file storage, Kubernetes as a service, and other services—operate at peak performance.
