Beginning in 2014, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) has conducted a large, cross-organizational strategic planning effort called the Top Tier Initiative, with the goal of increasing the institution’s research, educational, and community impact by 2025. UNLV, like most North American research universities, has decentralized processes and data about its institutional research activities, making it challenging to accurately measure and report on its progress toward institutional goals.

In this webinar, we will learn how UNLV libraries are actively working with other campus stakeholders to develop centralized research information management infrastructures, workflows, and metrics to support research, scholarship, and creative activities. In particular, we will hear how UNLV librarians have developed and stewarded effective relationships with other campus stakeholders, and how the library is a valued campus stakeholder in institutional reputation management.

This webinar will be of interest to anyone interested in fostering positive campus partnerships and demonstrating the library’s value proposition, particularly library leaders, scholarly communication librarians, and subject area librarians.
