Cella informs Teresa about Bernarda's calls to hospitals. Teresa is shocked and considering firing Bernarda. Aldo wants to posses the ring and necklace. Julia refuses to give him those. Independently on each other, Leopoldo and Rudy read the same newspapers about the accident of Isabel and Fernando and about Isabel's dissapearance. Aldo tries to get the ring and necklace by force. Julia tries to flee from him and moves herself to the bay and tries to flee by boat. Aldo chases her and when she refuses to give him the jewelry, he hits Julia by piece of wood. Julia falls in water and doesn't move. Manuela is sad, she is missing her dad and Fernando. Rafael and Mercedes try to calm her down. Chief rescue worker informs Fernando, that there's last week of re-opened search for Isabel. Aldo wakes up on shore and sees dead body of Julia on the water. He run out calling her name. Bernarda is persuaded, that Isabel is still alive. Jacinta loads woman with destroyed face (Isabel) on her wheelbarrow and moves in her hut. Merecdes talks to Manuela in bed, and assures her, that she will give her any support, that Manuela will want. Manuela is sad and can't order her mind. When Mercedes leaves, Manuela cries. Fernando talks with Antonio and Antonio tries to prepare Fernando for living without Isabel. Antonio wants to Fernando get accustomed to talk about Isabel in past tense and there will be inheritance of Isabel, which will belong to Fernando. Fernando replies, that if no body is found, there still is hope, that Isabel survived the accident. Manuela tells Rudy, she made her mind and she wants to teach in kindergarten once again. Rudy has no understanding for that and almost argues with Manuela. Cella and Felisa discuss weird behaviour of Bernarda, who orders everything to be done as if Isabel was present in home. They are interrupted by Bernarda, who orders Cella to do the daily routine in bedroom of Isabel. Emilio visits Fernando in residence and asks, if there are any news about Isabel. Fernando replies, there are no news. Emilio is desperate and asks, what more could be done to find Isabel. Fernando assures him, that the best is done. When Fernando leaves, Bernarda appears and informs Emilio, that Isabel is alive. Emilio asks, how Bernarda knows that. Bernarda replies, that the heart tells her, that Isabel is alive. Jacinta prepares the healing drink with antipyretic effect. When the fever of the woman with destroyed face can be lowered, she could survive.
