How to wire an RJ45 network cable?
In this tutorial, I answer this question and explain the principle of connecting a network cable with male RJ45 connectors and a Category 5e UTP Ethernet cable from the FS brand. This wired connection will allow you to connect an internet box and a desktop computer, eliminating the need for a Wi-Fi connection.
I'm using a DIY solution to adapt the cable length to my needs, approximately 10 meters, to avoid using the Wi-Fi network. UTP cable is used because there will be virtually no interference or disruption from high currents or surrounding radio waves along the cable's path. The cabling convention used in this guide is T568B on both ends of the Ethernet cable. To make this cable, I'm using a network cabling kit that includes a crimping tool, a wire stripper, wire cutters, various male RJ45 connectors, RJ45 sleeves, and a network continuity tester. I will finalize the cable's functionality with a static test of the cable to verify that each conductor will correctly carry the data.
