I'm in the process of learning the Guy Wright bind with the yoyo. I'm not at all comfortable with it yet, but I can hit it every once and a while :)
In the second video, the yoyo is spinning in the opposite direction (counter-clockwise), but it still binds. I'm guessing that this is solely because I pinched and twisted the string enough with my non-throw hand to force the bind. What are the drawbacks of doing it like this? I'm guessing that it's less likely to bind since it's spinning in the wrong direction, and I guess it could be more of a messy bind. Is that correct?
