Comedian Kerwin Claiborne Talks About Stealing, Fingerwaves, Standup, And More - BONUS EPISODE
Kerwin Claiborne is an American comedian. His internet personalities, such as Ms. Mary, Uncle Leroy and Miss Keisha have made it easy for everyday people to relate. Kerwin hails from a small Mississippi town called Pattison. Growing up, his influences were the likes of Martin Lawrence, Jamie Foxx, and Tyler Perry.
The interview starts with Marco trying to pronounce Kerwin’s name, which he fumbles and then asks Kerwin about his career and what his character is about. Marco tells Kerwin he is fake and Kerwin objects. Marco questions Kerwin about stealing, referring to Kerwin’s antics and outfit. Kerwin reveals he was once a kleptomaniac. Marco tries to get to the bottom of Kerwin’s antics by probing Kerwin’s expectations for his career. Kerwin seems bothered but tries to keep his composure. Marco goes back to the questions about Kerwin’s hair and Kerwin says he was going for a finger wave. Kerwin has a problem enunciating and Marco helps Kerwin and tries to promote him as a comedian. Kerwin swings his feet and things get a little awkward.
