This video will show you one approach to average across blank, text or error cells in a financial model. There is some trade data in the video with the following details, which contain some ad-hoc errors and omissions.

The standard AVERAGE function in Excel will be unable to work with a range, which contains non-numerical cell values such as text, blanks or text.

We need an alternative function and formula, which will return an average value of 37,527, as per the following example.
