The Render Time Irrelevant Series Episode 3 | Raj VFX
One of the main objectives of Raj VFX is to raise our profile as a center of excellence for VFX and Animation. Raj VFX is happy to be a part of the Render Time Irrelevant series by AMD in India!
After discussing a few ideas with the creatives and director, we created an image that would demonstrate our thoughts on how we would propose to approach the brief and the techniques that we would employ.
After approving the images, we start our work on Modeling, Texturing, lighting, hair n fur, and animation. It's a combination of CG models with layers of textures resulting in an aesthetically realistic model, and AMD Threadripper has done its part in rendering these realistic images. Depending on the task at hand, the artists use a variety of tools such as After Effects, Maya, and Arnold for rendering to perform the creative work assigned to them.
And now, it's been two years since we adopted AMD Threadripper, and can say that Threadripper understands the requirements of the software and gives it the power to deliver with high performance. So far we have delivered Zee5's 'Sunflower' and Hotstar's 'Special Ops 1' using AMD Threadripper. We would like to appreciate the kind of work AMD has done for making things possible and push our limits for giving better performance at high speed.
