Each of these films explores the workings of domestic counterintelligence. This project can be considered a true documentary, based on real cases, as well as sensational and sometimes scandalous revelations. The series' creators draw on a special archive containing all the video footage of how foreign agents and terrorists were exposed in our country. It is thanks to the work of these courageous individuals that various dangerous situations in the country were averted. Each film in the series documents preparation for covert operations, covert surveillance, captures, interrogations, and investigative experiments. With unique materials at their disposal, the creators of the documentary series recreate the course of operations in detail and realistically, showing how hypotheses are developed and outlining the search paths. In the "Spies and Traitors" series, the creators maintain the atmosphere of a documentary project. The narratives are based on facts and documents.
