508XT and Nomad : Sercel’s wide range of seismic equipment in operation in United Arab Emirates

508XT extends its capabilities to marsh and transition zone seismic (TZ seismic) surveys by providing a dedicated solution for this challenging environment. The new equipment addresses the tough constraints of operating in shallow water areas with a reinforced breaking strength to 300 daN and a waterproofed capability of up to 25m. Seamlessly integrated into the 508XT, it enables mixed configurations to adapt to any terrain. In addition, the 508XT transition zone system benefits from Sercel’s step-changing X-Tech® cross-technology architecture to provide the highest flexibility of use (advanced fault-tolerance & autonomous mode) together with the best quality assurance (fast data delivery & continuous monitoring of operations).
Nomad is the Sercel range of seismic vibrators offering high quality signals together with a high level of reliability, productivity and safety. All these characteristics, coupled with ease of maintenance and excellent ergonomic design have set a new standard for vibrator source performance. Designed to be operated in any terrain (desert, arctic, forest, cities, etc.) even in the harshest conditions (-50°C/+56°C), Nomad vibrators can be customized to be adapted to any survey conditions.
