Bleepboxes Episode Eighteen: Ruby / Noisy Cricket Amp
I've build a Ruby / Noisy Cricket Amp with the pcb from Fuzzdog's Pedal Parts. It's an easy build with only a few parts and most of them are soldered directly on the board. I've used an old metal speaker box. It still has the original speaker inside. Pretty cool sounding. I was playing my Peavey T80 guitar directly into the amp and used an old Beyer Dynamic M55 for recording straight into logic through my interface. The 2nd guitar part has slightly more gain, but the amp is capable of much more. I just wanted to capture the clean sound. Not many youtube videos out there who show that.
