Tonido-Personal Cloud for Free-Part-6 of 9-Running Multiple Instances of Tonido from a Computer
Let us say there are two or more people in a house and they all use the same desktop but with different accounts in which they can view only their folders. Now you want to set up tonido so that each user has access to only their files. One way is to set up a parent tonido account as we did earlier and create guest users for each member. But in this the problem will be that at least one person who is the administrator or the person who has installed the tonido server will have access to all the files. Now suppose you don’t want anyone to have access to all files but to their files only. So basically, you don’t want an administrator type of account. To do this we can run multiple instances of tonido with different ids and password from the same desktop computer each having access to only their folders. So now I am going to show you how to create multiple instances in tonido from a single desktop computer. In fact, as I mentioned in the first Part of the video you will find this only in this video as there are no videos in YouTube which mention leave alone demonstrate this process. You will also not find it in the web.
