Gamerbase Hosts EGL 8
The weekend of 17/18 October 2009 saw Gamerbase Manchester play host to The European Gaming League (EGL). Teams from all over Europe flocked down to Manchester to compete in games such as Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War. Roughly 20 COD teams entered the event with the 4 v 4 composition being the highlight of the weekend .
