The 5.3 Spiral Abyss enemy lineup may seem easier than 5.2, but starter characters have a limited roster. The requirement for Pyro characters on both sides in 12-1 is a major challenge, forcing me to modify core team elements just to pass the Pyro check. In my opinion, the difficulty of 12-1 in the 5.3 Spiral Abyss rivals that of the 5.2 Spiral Abyss for Starter Characters Only runs.

The Reflection front-left of the Wayward Hermetic Spiritspeaker never seems to attack first, so I focus Amber on it. This gives me enough time to destroy that specific Reflection. Additionally, Amber’s main arrow applies 2U Pyro, while her C1 arrow applies only 1U. I need to back up when firing arrows because standing point-blank in front of enemies causes the game to register the C1 arrow first. Since the main and C1 arrows share ICD, the C1 arrow stealing Pyro application only depletes 2U of the 8U Frozen shield, forcing me to shoot two more main arrows or use an extra Baron Bunny.
