REPLACING BALL JOINTS AND CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS ON A RENAULT DUSTER, DIY.
I noticed the front wheel was loose in my Renault Duster. Upon closer inspection, I discovered a torn bushing on the front control arm. I decided to replace it along with the ball joints. I installed Turkish Asmetl ones because TRW had doubled the price.
The bushings were still stock, with 195,000 km on the clock. The ball joints were replaced around 70,000 km ago. They installed TRW ones, as they were from the factory.
During disassembly, I discovered a torn ball joint boot.
