THE MUSHROOMS ARE OUT! MUSHROOM VARIETY! KARELIA MUSHROOMS 2023
My first foray into the forest in hopes of finding edible mushrooms this summer, and I was immediately struck by luck. The hunt was a success, the mushrooms were thriving after the rain, and I found a wide variety of mushrooms and a wide variety of wild berries. A quiet hunt on July 21st, lots of young noble mushrooms, aspen mushrooms, chanterelles, porcini milk caps, and even porcini mushrooms. Enjoy!
