The Radical Imagination: Imagining the Drama of Protest
On Monday, September 12, 2016 people of faith participated in Moral Revival National Day of Action in Albany to ask state politicians to move away from extremist policies and move toward laws that benefit the majority.
On this episode of “The Radical Imagination,” host Jim Vrettos of John Jay College of Criminal Justice talks with Reverend Emily McNeil, acting director of the New York Labor Religion Coalition about this movement and the the connections between art, performance, drama, protest and social change. Joining the discussion are Jan Douglas, a singing and musical theater instructor at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute; and Margot Steinberg, a SAG-AFTRA actress and voice artist.
