Unreal Engine 5 Tutorial: Add Realistic Camera Shake & Head Bob System
In today’s Unreal Engine 5 tutorial, we are improving the standard Third Person Character movement. We will set up a dynamic "Head Bob" camera shake system to make your game feel much more immersive and realistic.
We will be using Legacy Camera Shakes to create three distinct profiles: Idle, Walk, and Sprint. Then, we will dive into Blueprints to script the logic, triggering these shakes automatically based on the character's current velocity using Event Tick.
This simple system is a great foundation for adding "game feel" to any project!
