How to change the root MySQL password in WHM
• When cPanel/WHM is set up, your system MySQL password is randomly generated. You may change it to something you'll know.
• Go to SQL Services-MySQL Root Password.
• Enter and confirm the new password or generate one. When you are done, click on change password.
• The root SQL password is changed automatically.
• If you received an error, there is an alternative method of changing the password. Click on Reset Local MySQL Root Password.
• Note the warning and set the password. Click on change password when done.
