Hey Syro Fam!!
Fr. Rajeev from St. Joseph Syro Malabar Church in Houston, Texas shares some advice about how we as the Syro Malabar Church should respond to the coronavirus pandemic. He gives a few thoughts and reminders for everyone during this time of confusion and closing of Churches. Its important that we take some time to think what our plan is for the next few days and weeks moving forward, sometimes we may waste a lot of time sitting around not sure of what to do next.
Fr. Rajeev talks about spending some time with the Word of God, do some reflections, doing spiritual readings, sit in silence, whether its for a couple of minutes or an hour. We may have taken for granted the beauty of Gods invitation to Church every Sunday, but now let us take the time to invite God into our daily life. We are the Church and this Church is always open.
Last Sunday must have been confusing and different without having to go to Qurbana. Sunday is still the Lord’s day and we should still figure out ways to keep it Holy and find ways to nourish our spiritual soul.
Sunday Qurbanas will be available online to attend.
